Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes is set to stay at Old Trafford this summer, according to reports.
Fernandes
was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia last summer and rumours have
continued to swirl throughout his record breaking season this term.
The playmaker has previously said that "I will be here until the club says to me that it's time to go," and has a year left on his current contract, which does include the option to extend for a further season.
However, according to The Sun, should United qualify for the Champions League next summer, Fernandes is likely to stay at the club.
Team-mate Senne Lammens has also said he believes his skipper wants to remain at the club and has his sights set on bringing the first Premier League title to Old Trafford since 2013.
"I think, because he wants to win Champions Leagues and he wants to win the Premier League, so that’s what he’s thinking about and that’s what tries to give us as well," he said.
"He’s very demanding of course. But he also knows that in the Premier League, in the way we are, you can win and lose some games."
